The 2D and 3D courses at Pärnävaara open in summer 2026. Until then we are clearing ground, measuring distances and setting up stations.

Joutsi ry and Karjalan Jousimetsästäjät are building a full-scale 3D course and a technically demanding 2D course at Pärnävaara.
It suits a first-timer as well as a competitor after a new challenge. The stations are in the forest, not on a shooting range: terrain, distance and light change from round to round.
What opens in summer 2026.
3D course
A loop of stations through Karelian spruce. Animal targets at full scale and at real hunting distances.
2D course
Paper faces for precision. Short stations for competition practice, the longest shots for anyone who wants the harder round.
Competitions
The season opens with the Pärnävaara Open. National events from 2026, international ones later.

The range is a project of Joutsi ry, the Joensuu archery club, together with the Karjalan Jousimetsästäjät bowhunters. Four people run it day to day.
